Women's History Month - Elaine Spaull

Day 2 - Another Rochester, New York woman, Elaine Spaull!

My alma mater, Rochester Institute of Technology and Elaine Spaull teamed up recently and addressed the real need for women's leadership events. Dr. Spaull served as keynote speaker at “The Power of Great Moments – A Leadership Event for Women” held at RIT on Tuesday, Feb. 21. 

 

I personally know Elaine through the Fashion Week of Rochester, where Elaine serves as the Executive Director for the Center for Youth; the beneficiary of all proceeds raised by Fashion Week. Dr. Spaull is responsible for the administration of a youth-centered organization founded more than 38 years ago by a group of teenagers.  The legacy of those original youth and their dreams of having a place for kids to go where they would be free to express their opinions and share their dreams, continues to drive the mission and philosophy of The Center for Youth.
